Ain’t no party like an Austin party.

This past week, Austin landed on a list of the top 20 places in the U.S. to party created by Wanderu. The train and bus booking website used information from Yelp API to count “party establishments” in major cities and determine which were the biggest party hubs. New York City came in at No. 1.

Austin ranked as No. 12 on the list, with its 667 bars, 137 music venues and more. Infographics_V2-07-new2-1280x1024

We’re not the only Texas city to have made the list, though. Houston came in at No. 6 and Dallas came in at No. 9 — but at least we weren’t named one of the “rudest” cities in the U.S.

This year Austin was also ranked as the No. 2 most-walkable city in Texas, the third best city to start your career, and sixth on the list of 25 best cities for jobs.
