On Twitter, Austin says #ThanksObama

President Barack Obama is rolling into Austin on Friday for South by Southwest, and Twitter is all about low-hanging fruit in honor of the visit.

That’s right: The hashtag du jour is #ThanksObama.

We admit it’s pretty hard to pass up deploying this time-honored meme when the president actually directly affects your daily life. Like your commute, for example:

And of course, there are some non-ironic uses of #ThanksObama. Perks of presidential visits!
